Hey … I’m Kerin … a 5 foot n a bit, happy, bubbly, 30 something ( or possibly 40 ? dammit ) , Adelaide based Multi National Award Winning Master Photographer. This is my blog, for rants, raves and mainly pretty pics … I used to have 3 blogs, a photography, a personal and a travel. Talk about overkill ! I have combined all three to keep it simple. For sharing and inspiring. I’m not a cookie cutter photog, I’m a story teller, I shoot honestly and photojournalistically and have been Pro for over 20 years. It’s ‘ma thing. My BIG BIG love. I capture weddings, families, pregnancies, births, newborns, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, couples, old people and pets. I travel every year for my own self commisioned travel projects. I shoot loads of odds n sods just for me, just for fun as I am at one with my camera. Please enjoy and leave me lovely comments. Love and Light, Kerin xx

Funny story

I asked this old homeless dude a couple of weeks ago if I could photograph him. He glared at me for a very long time, threw a beer bottle at my head and told me to go fuck myself. ( excuse my language but it was very funny and scarey all at the same time !!! ) … SO not to be outdone, tonight I saw him again and sat beside him … my heart was beating slightly fast … offered him ciggies I had bought even though I don’t smoke and 20 bucks if he would let me take his pic. he said YES !!!!!!!!! : )

Another Sneak Peek ( if anyone can thing of a better term for this I will give you a big internet hug !!! :-) ) … it is so done to death !!!

Hopefully my pics aren’t ! Had a fun and happy day shooting Jess and Gav’s rustic wedding on Saturday at Howard’s Winery in Littehampton, Adelaide Hills. Awesome bridal party and Mr and Mrs Photogenic were lovely. Again I am honoured to be a part of such a momentos day xx

Project Road Bike complete :)

For about a month I have been looking about, wanting to buy a bike. My dream and goal is to get into road bike riding. I had a road bike 20 years ago and loved it. Anyways, I had thought I would buy a flat bar road bike which is a kind of ” soft willy “ road bike. And then down the track when have built up fitness and confidence, to buy the real thing. Well … today I skipped all the lead up, pussy footing about and bought a REAL road bike. I am both excited and scared. But I love my noo bike : ) !!! It’s so pretty xxx … can’t wait for my first ride, I pick it up next week ~

Project 365 – image posted every day, either shot that day or previous favourite.

Most times it tends to be old favs or shot a few days before. I find it too difficult with my work load to shot a shot specifically everyday for this project.

I shot all these the other day when I was in the Adelaide hills doing research for locations for an upcoming shoot. I decided to take some back roads because the clouds were nuts ( nuts cool ) and I hoped to find something pretty to shoot for fun xx

Barossa Bride Magazine

Barossa Bride is a beautiful publication about Weddings in the exquisite Barossa Valley in South Australia. It is a treat to shoot weddings there, very inspiring and unbelievably pretty.

Below is a cover shot of the Barossa Bride and below my most recent Ad, coming out in the next issue in March 2012. The couple are Sian and Shane, a young and happy couple from the Adelaide Hills, their wedding was a delight. I loved the rustic charm, the cute little details and their obvious devotion for one another ~
